Blue Flag beach, a protected sanctuary for the Caretta caretta turtles, and the view you greet every morning from your window.

The Gate of Mani (3 km · 5 minutes)
Gythio is a town that makes you cancel your plans and stay a little longer. According to legend, Paris and Helen spent their first night here before sailing to Troy.

On the shore stand stone towers — the seat of the Mavromichalis family, protagonists in the Greek War of Independence.
Limeni doesn't need to impress.
It simply is — and in a world of overdeveloped seaside resorts, this is exceptional.

Αρεόπολη
(24 χλμ)
It was named after Ares, the god of war. A town with cobblestone streets, medieval towers, and Byzantine churches with impressive stone facades. Here begins the road to Deep Mani — dramatic landscapes, abandoned villages on the cliffs, and horizons of sea and sky.
Diros Caves
(35 km)
Beneath the hills of Mani, an underground system of lakes opens up — a "cathedral" hall of stalactites and stalagmites, explored by boat. A constant temperature of 14°C.C, the perfect coolness for the hottest days of summer. One of Greece's natural wonders that you shouldn't miss.
Shipwreck "Dimitrios"
Glyfada Beach (10 km)
In 1981, the cargo ship Dimitrios ran aground and was never moved. Half ghost, half work of art, it has become one of the most iconic images of southern Greece. It's ideal to see it during the "golden hour," when the rusty hull shines like copper.
Cape Tainaro
(75 km)
The southernmost point of mainland Greece and Europe. Untamed beauty where the Ionian and Aegean Seas meet. The ancient Greeks believed that the entrance to the Underworld was located here. The hike from Porto Cayo passes ancient ruins of a temple dedicated to Poseidon and ends with a view that stretches to the curvature of the earth.
